Those Were Yesterday's Feelings
We do not need to carry the pain of yesterday into today. We do not need to carry the sadness or the anger or the disappointment. Emotions are meant to be felt, experienced, and then be let go. If we dwell on them and carry them with us, it ruins the possibilities for what can be felt today, for what can be experienced in the future. The continual feelings of yesterday rob today of the beauty it could be. This applies to feelings held in. if we don’t feel the feelings, they are going to linger. They are going to carry into today and tomorrow and the next day. They are going to cloud your heart from experiencing new emotions now. So leave the feeling of yesterday in yesterday. They do not need to dictate today, how you act, the outcome of the next 24 hours. Today is a clean slate.
